What is Micropigmentation?
Why Micropigmentation is Also Known as Cosmetic Tattooing?
Micropigmentation is done in 2 or even 3 sessions. Initially a sketch is done with regular make-up once the shape and color will be defined and the client will have a close idea about the final appearance. The touch up is done 45 days after the first treatment to enhance the color and give a perfect finish. Sometimes, a second touch up is required when the client wishes bold eyeliners or darker eyebrows. Micropigmentation procedures are much more tolerable than regular body tattoo. On micropigmentation numbing anesthetic cream is generously applied 30 minutes before the procedure and is reapplied few times during the procedure to avoid any uncomfortable pain.
Micropigmentation Procedures:
Eyebrows
Eyebrows that are too light, sparse, or non-existent, can be beautifully enhanced and improved with micropigmentation. Eyebrows are important, they frame your eyes and give your face expression and when the eyebrows are fuller and extended, you get a more youthful appearance. Anyone who desires more fullness of the brows will love this procedure. You can go swimming, play tennis or wipe your face without the embarassment of losing your eyebrows. Also great for alopecia and cancer victims. The techniques we apply are Digital, Micro-stroking and Soft Tap.

Eyebrows for Men
For our special men clients who want natural looking eyebrows we recommend the manual hair strokes simulation (microblading). This technique consists of implanting colour in a little one by one hair stroke line between your existing eyebrows to give a fuller and best designed eyebrow shape. Having the procedure done will give you assured confidence that nobody will be able to identify that you have had permanent makeup applied. It is up to you how you want your new look to be, we can do it gradual or completely.
Eyeliner
A natural look, mimicking thousands of thin and tiny eyelashes with the implantation of pigments in the lash line called Lash Enhancement is popular with both men and women clients. Additional color can be added for soft natural eyeliner or a bold dramatic colorful butterfly wing look.

Lip Liner or 3D Full Lips
Permanent lip color can be natural and beautiful at the same time. It can appear to enhance or change the size and shape adding a pretty color to the lips as well. This procedure helps prevent the look of your lipstick bleeding and add little color. It also can correct asymmetrical shaped lips, uneven vermillion borders, scars. Patients that are prone to herpetic reactions must take anti-herpetic medication 5-7 days before the procedure to prevent cold sores.
Post Mastectomy Paramedical Areola Repigmentation
Repigmentation to the areola or areola portion of a breast can be performed with a paramedical micropigmentation procedure. This service is often requested as part of breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. Areola colors are custom-blended and shadowing effects are used to create a natural look. This procedure is also requested by women who prefer larger areolas after breast augmentation.

Scalp Micropigmentation or Tricopigmentation
Scalp micropigmentation is a new and innovative technique that offers an alternative styling option for men who do not want or are not candidates for hair transplant surgery. Micropigmentation can be used for a variety of scalp conditions, including genetic male pattern baldness (MPB), scarring alopecias (alopecia areata, alopecia totalis), and neurosurgical procedures scarring.
Scal Scar Camouflage, Hair Simulation and Stimulation
Scar Camouflage helps reduce the appearance of scars from accidents, burns or surgery. Scalp Hair simulation helps restore the appearance of missing hair lost to disease (Cancer or Alopecia), trauma, or natural thinning within scalp, brows, moustache, or beard. That technique can also be used to simulate hair stubble. It is non surgical procedure which normally takes up to 3-5 sessions with 4 weeks in between. Density results are achieved after few sessions, normally performed in 1-3 hours, 4 weeks or more in between treatments.
We can also work with two technicians simultaneously in order to expedite the process. This allows for little discomfort and a gradual process to create authentic subtle results. We can use digital machine micro-stroking, manual hair by hair micro-blading or micro-needling technique.

Vitiligo Skin Camouflage
Results are instantaneous and last up to 3 years without washing off. It camouflages the white patches of skin so they blend right in with your regular skin tone. The procedure can be performed on face, hands, or almost anywhere on the body. Up close, it looks like a professionally applied make-up concealer but it does not smudge or washes off. Skin camouflages the next best thing to treat the appearance of skin acromia.
Permanent Make-Up Post Procedure Aftercare
- KEEP IT CLEAN AND MOISTURIZED!!!! If your new makeup is not kept clean, you risk getting a bacterial infection. Prevent this at all costs, it’s not hard to do. Clean 2-3 times daily with a mild antibacterial soap. preferably unscented. Follow the cleaning with a thin application of Triple Antibiotic Ointment. Apply 4-5 times daily with a Q-Tip.
- KEEP OUT THE SUN!!!! UV Rays fade pigments over time and pose a particular threat to fresh pigments. New permanent makeup should not be exposed to the sun. Wear a hat with a brim and sunglasses that will cover your healing permanent makeup. Once the makeup is healed, always wear a UV Protectant on your skin. When tanning, wear goggles over your eyes and eyebrows. This will keep your color looking its best and reduce fading over time. You will also need to STAY OUT OF THE POOL or beach while healing. Chlorine will not only burn a fresh wound, but chemicals should never be introduced to fresh pigment. Marine Salt makes the pigments fade as magic.
- NEW MAKEUP AND NO FACIALS!!! Additional makeup and mascara may be used over the pigmented area after 3 days of application. You will have to buy new makeup and mascara, however. Used makeup and makeup containers have old bacteria in them. You cannot put this on healing skin because you’re risking an infection and chance of unwanted scabbing.
You can get facials 2 weeks after your initial procedure. Your facial routine may change though, you now cannot get facial peels or waxed over your new permanent makeup. Retin-A will peel layers of skin and can fade your pigment significantly. Waxing can fade the pigment in your skin as well. Your technician or esthetician will have to take special care in applying a facial or wax around your brows.
Makeup will take about 4-7 days to heal. Pigment goes in the skin as a liquid and dries as a powder. It will lighten about 45-55%, having a “lived in” more natural look. 30 days after your first appointment we schedule a refresher appointment. Two new layers of skin will heal over your new makeup and may cause the pigment to look a little spotty. We refresh the color to make sure it looks its best and your need for future touch-ups is kept to a minimum.
Keep your permanent make-up always protected with sunscreen and avoid anti-aging creams close to the pigmented area. Most of them have AHA acids and will make your color go away faster. Keep in mind these tips and ENJOY!
